About Renee

Hi! I'm Renee.  I'm a mom of three, a recently retired high school math teacher, and a certified professional coach.

Having spent 18 years in the classroom, I've taught over 2000 students.  Between teaching and coaching, I have the tools and experience to "meet my students where they're at."

Whether I'm in teacher-mode or mentor/coach-mode, my students feel seen, heard and valued.

Although I am recently retired from the classroom (May, 2019), this COVID craziness has prompted me to teach virtually!

I know there are a lot of parent's worried about online learning, yet, also afraid to send their kids into the classroom.

I'm here to help.

I have a B.S. degree in Math, a Master of Education, and I am a certified professional coach.

Every student  deserves to receive a good education, regardless of the circumstances.

Bottom line:  I am very well-versed in everything teen...and, I am more than ready to help your child be successful!

Testimonials

"Mrs. Sinning was a great teacher!  She was able to take a subject matter I was not interested in (math), and make it a class I really enjoyed.  She explained concepts in a variety of ways to reach students effectively.  She motivates her students by making personal connections with them in order to build an engaging classroom environment. I have not doubt this will translate to a virtual platform with great success." - Sarah B.,  MATH ANALYSIS STUDENT, FL

"Mrs. Sinning, I haven't even visited Newsome (High School) because you were the only reason I would have came back. lol Ugh, I miss you !!!" Stacey H., GEOMETRY STUDENT, FL

"Mrs. Sinning was my math teacher my senior year of high school. Being a student that did not really want to be at school or interested in math for that matter, Mrs. Sinning made a huge impact on my life. Not only did she teach me important math skills that I have used throughout my career, but she taught me the importance of education. I have always struggled to stay interested in school, and Mrs. Sinning made math enjoyable. It is very obvious that she cares tremendously for her students and their future. I am very grateful to have had Mrs. Sinning as a positive role model in my teenage years." Charlie B. - ALGEBRA 2 STUDENT, FL

I am so grateful for Renee Sinning!  She understood my daughter's capabilities and limitations, and adapted the material to make it challenging, but not unattainable for her.  Renee had my daughter's best interest in mind.  What could have been a horrendous experiences was a pleasant one instead. - Cindy Mills, PARENT of GEOMETRY STUDENT,  MO
